Ons tweede keer by Erin Farmhouse & Cottages. Elke kothuis het 'n tuin wat omhein is vir troetediere. Verblyf skoon en gerieflik. Braaipak met bykosse was baie lekker. Alreeds weer daar bespreek. Anton, November 2022.
Die plekkie was heel aanvaarbaar. Dit was skoon en netjies. Ongelukkig kort die geboutjie aandag. Die eienaars was baie vriendelik en ons is ontmoet met ys en melk. Gelukkig was daar geen beurtkrag, so ons het lekker gebly. Elke aand gebraai en kon vrylik stap op die plaas. Ek vermoed die plek is onlangs oorgeneem deur die huidige eienaars, want die plekkie lyk nie heeltemal soos op die foto's op die webblad.Tina, Oktober 2022.

We loved this stop. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed and more. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The dogs had a beautiful secure area to run around in and a lovely walk on the farm before we headed off. We will be back and definately can recommend this spot. Adreinne, August 2022.

Perfect spot for a few nights away from city life. We enjoyed a delightful stay in Meerkat cottage which was clean, cosy and well equipped. A beautiful setting and wonderful hosts. There is a fair amount to do in the area but it's also a lovely place to just relax and take in the mountain views and quiet meanderings of Karoo farm life. Hope to be back soon! Kate, April 2022.

What a lovely find. We usually stay in the town of Middleburg as an overnight stay. This time all our usual places were fully booked. I came across Erin Farmhouse on SafariNow and I am so happy that I did. We stayed in Rosemary cottage. it was comfy, clean and had everything we needed. Freyni is accommodating, she met us with a smile as we arrived after a long drive and everything was perfect. We opted for their home-cooked meal of chicken thighs and it was delicious soul food. We travel between Gauteng and the Eastern Cape regularly and we are so glad to have found this gem! First of all, it's pet friendly. The cottages we stayed in (Meerkat & Mongoose) had a small enclosed garden, perfect for our dog. The rooms were well-equipped and have all you need for a stop-over. Justin, Freyni and their son welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. The best part was the hot meal, served in your room. We had the juiciest lamb chops with really tasty roasted veggies and baby potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection with fresh herbs complimenting the taste. It was all building up to the highlight of the stay - the home made apple crumble. Even my mother-in-law, who swears she does not eat warm fruit, had a second helping. The whole family gets involved and makes you feel very welcome and at home. The location is perfect for a halfway stay-over between CPT and DBN with the added bonus of beautiful farm scenery. The hot home cooked meal is amazing and the portions will leave any hungry traveler full to the brim. Will definitely be staying again! Justin, 2021

True Karoo hospitality and very comfortable. We stayed in the Rosemary Lodge where we enjoyed a braai with sweeping Karoo sunset views and were kept warm by the indoor fireplace and electric blankets in the main bed. Highly recommended …Susanne, 2021
